In a report that originally aired on “CBS Sunday Morning” November 22, 1998, correspondent Rita Braver talked with Internet entrepreneurs (including Zip2 co-founder Elon Musk, Digital Bitcasting owner Peter Dougherty, and Cypress Semiconductors CEO T.J. 1. Microsoft's days are numbered, whether you know it or not. Gabe Newell is one step away from turning gamers away from Windows forever with a Steam Machine powered by a new Steam OS…and when that happens, thanks to the inroads made by the Steam Deck, then I see half their market splitting off. Windows will always be used for business, but Steam OS will take everything else.
