Independent and dependent variable are confusing does anyone have a strategy to learn this?
Hey im a dropout taking my Ged at the moment and while i was watching the first couple minutes i actually noticed an error that caused you to calculate the wrong thing because the question actually asked you to calculate the average increase which is .325 and .275 A and B and you actually calculated the mean or average value which is different, technically the answer is still right because its still A regardless of how you calculate that but I think that might make things a little confusing for people down the road as they will be calculating average values for questions that are asking for average change and it could make a big difference on how they're graded. Honestly though maybe i'm the one who messed up Its been a long time since i've done all of this

Got my science portion of my ged tomorrow more. Super nervous
so is this really all i need to be able to pass the entire test? so far it all seems easy enough except for the fact ive never worked with the periodic table of elements or wrote or had to comprehend chemical equations so thats gonna take some practice and some tylenol as well. i also hate rate and slope stuff but its not bad. everything else seems easy enough especially since you said not to overthink it and most of the time it sort if gives you the answer in the question.

can you please post the other method for the question at 4:19? it doesn't make sense cause i thought you'd have to divide 350 by 296 to get the average??
this is how i did it
(45+55+52+50+x+53+41)/7 = 50
so i found x by
296x/7 = 50
296x = 350
so x would be
x = 350/296
how is this wrong? can someone pls explain
