🚨 Gen Z’s skincare obsession might be aging them faster than EVER… In this video, I’m breaking down how the rise of 10-step skincare routines, overusing harsh acids, and chasing “anti-aging” trends are secretly destroying young faces instead of protecting them.

From TikTok’s endless skincare hauls to the pressure of looking younger than your actual age, Gen Z is falling into a cycle of damaged skin barriers, premature wrinkles, and long-term problems that no serum can fix. Let’s talk about how this skincare addiction started, why it’s so toxic, and what you actually need for healthy skin.

✨ If you’ve ever wondered whether all those products are worth it (or if you’re guilty of using too many at once), this video is for you. ‘LIKE’ the video if you enjoyed it, and let me know what video’s you’d like to see in the future! Love, Lael ❤️

  1. Im a millenial (35) and I wash my face xd I do apply sunscreen thats important but I have a 17yo niece that is ruining her face with this type of things is too excessive. You want a nice skin just eat healthy drink water, dont smoke and ALWAYS USE SUNSCREEN and dont overdo the skincare. We age and thats normal, wrinkles are s sign of history. I do see that millenials look younger but maybe is the food and the lifestyle, nowadays genz and younger people lead unhealthy life BC of social media, they spent hours doing nothing but watching tiktok and eat garbage, come on the perfect skins that you see are filters thats all is not real

  2. Everyone knows google exists. Yet they wont just google the ingredients in products and what not to use with other products. Retinol especially reacts with a lot of other ingredients.

2:03 yes!! Exactly! If you are a parent getting your literal child who hasnt even entered puberty yet skin care beyond sunscreen then you are failing. Puberty and post-puberty may need cleanser and moisturiser aswell as sunscreen due to hormones producing acne, but thats it. If its proper cystic acne then you need a dermatologist to possibly prescribe specific items. But you do not need 8+ layers of skincare for skin that hasnt even lost its puppy baby fat.

  3. Im 31. I will say korean skincare moisturisers, serums, and sunscreen do work well because they absorb and dont leave me feeling like i have a layer of goo on me which i just cannot handle. Its taken me years to find a handcream i can even handle because it soaks in and moisturises really well and doesnt make me feel my hands have been dipped in olive oil.
