  1. Visually, yes! It obviously looks like a kids game… But take a glance at the top up menu and tell me… Who are these kids that can drop 3-$500 on a character and weapon? Oh right, Hoyo expects kids to steal their parents credit cards, my fault.

  2. And I probably have hundreds of dollars into destiny 2 and Warframe and I dropped both those games. I bought every 100 dollar doc for destiny 2 since beyond light and I dropped the game this year. I've probably bought every prime Warframe I have on Warframe and I dropped that game too.

  3. Ok. Here is what it is. It is the same phenomenon like shounen mangas. You start reading when you are 12 and over the years most turn darker or more mature. Others are written that if you go back as an adult some stories give you the "OOOOOOOOOOH FUUU….. how did i not understand this as a kid???" effect. Genshin is in no way different.

A 12 year old back when Genshin started is now 17 – 18 old has his own wallet (I hope) and still feels attached to his childhood game. Other factor is why Genshin caters to old and young players and vibrant colors…… Most games would kill for the male/female ratio Genshin has.
