Hello, I am sorry that this song touched you so much. I also shed tears, believe me. It is a terribly emotional song. I found my parents when I was 17 years old. I knew them for about 2 years; my father hung himself and the ceiling fell on my mother. And there is so much I wanted to say to my father, to my parents, but I can no longer do anything, only cry and remember. I even lost a son, and for me that was lifelong pain in my heart, believe me, he was 15 years old. Beautiful, emotional song, beautiful voice, and thank you, it reminded me of my father. Thank you very much that I could also express my feelings and opinion about the song. Parents are necessary for us our whole life.

  2. My dad passed on July 4th, 3 months ago. I hadn’t heard this song yet at that time, and it’s funny how exactly true it was. Dad was missing a lot of my childhood, and my parents didn’t get along well very often, but as he was passing I felt exactly like this. It’s all said and done, two grown men saying goodbye. Just let go, it will be OK. Both sad and strange to hear this so close after for the first time.

  3. My Dad passed 5 yrs, 10 days ago….09/29/2020

I am a daughter, but spent his last 23 of 24 hours with him….he passed as I was driving home. I knew he was actively dying, held his hand, reassured him, cried with his nurses, told stories about the extraordinary man and fat 3:53 her he was…

    after 5 yrs
the pain is as real now
    as then.
