It really does depend on location. I think healthy options work well in places people are going to be waiting for a long time like airports or train stations. I love healthy options on the rare occasions I use a vending machine. Usually it's when I'm traveling so I like to look for sandwiches or meat / cheese snacks. Last vending machine I used was a year ago at a bus station while going across boarders. That sandwich was a blessing amount all the chips.
seems accurate. if I want healthy food, I want it fresh. Who knows how long the product has been in the vending machine? Bought a sandwich from a vending machine once, never again! and for my case, I don't buy "healthy" drinks. I drink water from the tap.
How about 70% junk food then 30% healthy snacks/drinks? Then check the statistics of the sales then adjust (or even risk) based on number of purchases? I might start one in the future lol
Don't get me wrong, there are days I would prefer a healthy snack, but if im walking up to a vending machine I'm not EXPECTING anything healthy. Sometimes its a nice surprise, but people need to chill
People k ow that snacks and treats are not suuposed to be healthy and thats okay. It doesnt kill anyone

packs of nuts might do well
I usually get trail mix from a vending machine. Usually when I'm in a waiting room its usually the most "healthy" option
What do you with the snacks that almost expired, you can't put them in a machine?

You do you, boo. People can buy your snacks or walk away.

If you make the snack machine cold to keep the candy from melting won’t the chips get cold too
