I have said for a while now that I wanted to dive deeper into bands that I have already reacted to. There is so much music out there that I still haven’t heard. Today I listened to Supertramp and their song The Logical Song. I will always stand on the fact that I think Supertramp are one of the best bands to come out of the 70’s. Their music is always intricate and always blows me away. The Logical Song is a perfect example for this! I hope that Supertramp have so many more songs that need to be reacted to because it is always a good day when you hear a Supertramp song.

I'm old enough to have enjoyed this when it was released. Many childhood memories are wrapped within many Supertramp songs. Your emotional reactions are EXACTLY how I feel about that time as a teen. It's beautiful, painful, and so well played, you simply cannot listen without emotion welling up within you.

Wow what a song , 🎧 i’d forgotten about this one .
When this song came out, my mother was running from a violent, abusive, horrible man. We ended up with a co-worker of hers, living in their house, I was in 5th grade, the daughter was in 8th grade, and I was completely in love with her. This song was everywhere. But I was a child living through horrific violence and the love that my mother's friends gave to us to protect us, and my mother was SO BRAVE. This song is first love, struggle, resilience, refusal to be consumed by the world, for a little boy in 5th grade. To my mother's friend, thank god for you! To her daughter, I will love you forever for your kindness to a young boy.
