  3. That history miss a very important point. The core and heart of the kingdom of prussia was Brandenburg and not Prussia. The former area of the Teutonic Order was good managed by them and rich. But when Prussia goes to brandenburgs ruler, it became just a peripheral province. Some times later the elector of Brandenburg like to get the title of a King. It was not possible for him to get it in the HRE, so he created the title King in Prussia, because the prussian part was outside the HRE. So with this we get the Kingdom of Prussia. But the core keep in Brandenburg with Berlin as capital and Potsdam as residence town of the King. So in normaly, if you make a history of Prussia, you should start with Brandenburg and not with the region they just borrow the name from, to can make the title of a King.
