Agree fully with you. Modern suit cuts dreadful. Too short and tight!!!

This sounds like good advice that I might come back to. I've currently got 1 suit jacket that fits cuz I'm decided to put on some muscle and fat. If I ever balance out, I'll come back before a purchase.

#2 has been debunked because that is made in context for someone with textbook perfect proportions of their body. Not every guy of the same height will have the same exact arm length (best eg. – "reach" of fighters in MMA under same weight class). So going by that some people might end up with too short or too long of a jacket.

For me personally even your sleeve length here is either on the shorter side or the shirt you're wearing underneath sleeves are tad bit longer than they should be, in the relaxed position only ~0.25-ish inches of the shirt underneath shall be visible, no more than 0.5" while yours are easily showing a full inch maybe even a little over than 1" !
