How is 2025 and liberals are still doing red scare propaganda, those countries literally were part of a union, the reason why the soviet union disbanded and not in a civil war is because they weren’t colonies they were member states forming the soviet union, it wasnt an empire. You literally cant say the same about puerto rico or hawaii or california voting to leave america, they can’t.
Technically the sovjet States had the choice wheter or not to stay in the Union or not. Similar to the USA but since many region depended on the Union they stayed.
