  1. The only way Germany could have won Ww1

    1. Start the war 1 month earlier
    2. Rush and capture belgium with french industrial heartland.
    3. Make the Austrians stay in defence and not launch any stupid offence that would make it lose 1/3 of the army .
    4. Invest in u boats and way more u boats.
    5. Harass british ships using u boats.
    6. After trench warfare, focus on russia.
    7. Refrain from pasturing american shipping and using chemical weapons.
    8. After the collapse of Russia, divert troops to the Italian front and Rush the Italians first, make them switch sides and pressure france.
    9. France lacking in manpower sues for peace followed by Britain.

Note: American intervention is inevitable and in every ww1 scenario even if Germany is close to winning, the Americans join and steamroll them.
If only an isolationist gets elected then only germany wins ww1 and everyone wears pointy skull hats.

  2. The invasion of Belgium is nowhere near a reason the Germans lost the war, in fact if they hadn’t they probably would have lost sooner. Britain was going to join sooner or later anyway since many politicians were actively calling for war and if Germany didn’t invade Belgium they wouldn’t have taken valuable industrial land in France so the western entente would have been stronger. If anything they shouldn’t have sent the ultimatum and just gone in.
