How I Made Thanksgiving Dinner for Under $30 (Aldi Meal Deal

This year, I challenged myself to make a full Thanksgiving dinner for under $30 using the Aldi Thanksgiving Meal Deal and I did it! In this video, I walk you through the entire process, starting with the grocery haul and then spreading out the cooking over four days to make the holiday so much easier. You’ll see how I made my cornbread dressing, mac and cheese, apple cobbler, cranberry sauce, and more, all without feeling overwhelmed on Thanksgiving Day.

My goal is to remind homemakers everywhere: You don’t have to do it all in one day!
Plan ahead, use pantry staples, and don’t be afraid to let your guests bring their favorite dishes.

This video is also part of a Thanksgiving collaboration with Ms. Leona, so be sure to check out her video, too, for even more delicious inspiration. Here’s her link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtdUiYpU8Fc

  1. If you're feeling overwhelmed by holiday cooking, remember you can plan ahead and pace yourself. Spreading out your prep makes Thanksgiving so much more enjoyable. When you are done here, don't forget to go over and check out Ms. Leona's video in our Thanksgiving collaboration for even more inspiration. Here's her link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtdUiYpU8Fc t. And tell me, what's one dish you always make for Thanksgiving? Comment below.

  2. Ms.Denise, I bought my turkey today because it was on sale at 25 cents a pound. I remember your video where you bought a turkey on sale, broke it down into several meals so I bought a second turkey at 25 cents a pound and will portion it into several dishes and freeze it! Thanks for that tip!

  3. You’re so elegant! I love to watch your videos. Apple pie looks great. I like to add oatmeal and chopped walnuts to my usual crumble topping. This year I’m making a frozen turkey breast for Thanksgiving. It goes from frozen to delicious on 55 minutes in my Instant Pot. I season with celery and onion with my usual spices which makes for a great broth turned into gravy. When I have stuffed vegetables into the turkey cavity in the past, I always cooked them in the microwave for 10-15 mins or so. This gives them a jump starting of releasing their juices into the turkey. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
