Hear it directly from Canva’s co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Cameron Adams. Affinity is 100% free. 💚
No catch, just powerful design tools made for people who are done with paying too much for creativity. And no, your content in Affinity is not used to train AI features. Your work stays yours.
Affinity is available for Mac or Windows, with an iPad version in the works. Visit https://www.affinity.studio to download the desktop version now.

GenX consumers value authenticity over viral gimmicks.
hahahaha lets see you one year from now when everything goes behind the paywall
Oh good, we can answer questions!
Then let’s ask them.
What new or old features will be locked behind the Canva subscription paywall?
Will Affinity take the Figma route, giving away the software for free but limiting how much you can use it once it becomes popular?
If the business model is as sustainable as it is claimed in this video, why selling to Canva in the first place?
Will you be making the tools that have often been already available without AI (background removal, for example) available also by those who don’t want AI slop littering their workflow/workspace?
Will you be introducing an option to completely remove any connection to Canva and Canva AI in the future for those who don’t want them?
Trust is earned, true. But also, it’s very easy to destroy it forever and right now it feels like Affinity has detonated away all the trust built over the past decade or so with their customer base.
If it's totally free then why not open source?
So could you please let us know, how to search new tutorials, done by the new (just) "affinity" called app?
Because this keyword "affinity" brings up all old V1 and V2 tutorials too.
So give it please a special name "Affinity V3, Affinity Canva" for example or something else.
You're turning the game around! I wish you victory over Adobe.
Thank you for making it free! This is very kind of your company! 🙂
Linux, please!
Please, a version for linux 😢
I get what you said, but still, how is it free? 😀
