Would also be interesting to know the actual cost of the shop / see the receipt cause these prices are definitely too low to be realistic (i.e most stuff you can't buy in the amounts you need, so the divided prices we see here aren't realllly representative of being able to reproduce yourself. Not that anyway is probably going to try but it's just interesting to know.
So if you only use 1 egg, but have to buy a 6 pack for say £1.80 you shouldn't only reveal 1 egg = 30p.
if doing this again keep the budget the same but different cuisine! would be interesting to compare if you can make the same amount with the same $$. Maybe try french next?
