  1. Don't think that you don't need expansion with lvp or that its waterproof. Sure the material itself is but the subfloor beneath it isn't. I cant tell you the number of times I have had to go out and replace LVP because people hear waterproof and mop it like tile and basically flood it. It gets a bunch of moisture trapped beneath it and most people don't opt for a moisture barrier so it causes the subfloor to shift. This also can cause it to warp and have seams poping if you don't leave expansion for it. The material itself is just something you don't have to worry about where you do have to with actual hardwood or laminate as well as the subfloor.

  2. What do you recommend for old houses with floors that aren't level? I tried the vinyl click and they end up opening up between the joints over time. Is there a nice looking product that has give for variance?
