BE CAREFUL. SEEING INWAS HEADED FOR WHEELCHAIR
I WENT to local flooring store
i went in for ceramic or similar tile & allowed the. to talk me into laminate
thst was december 2019— within no time the floor started to fall apartI
worst/mpst expensive decision I’ve
ever made – no wheelchair now, but have to redo entire floor
There is a reason finaly make solid doors and wimdows not shit like you guys using today
I had to try and fix a floor where someone not only didn't leave room for expansion, but used liquid nails to fasten down the "floating floor".
Don't do it in Florida. I followed the advice of the "experts", and the vinyl planks just shift all over the place. Put them tight, or else the floor will become uneven.
Vinyl moves with temperature variations. I would not recommend using vinyl in say a cabin not lived in all year. If the heat is off it will shrink, also if not conditioned air in summer, if it gets too hot it will expand. It's great in a conditioned home all year round.
vinyl ia amazing
You are the best teacher.
Iam using all your videos to fix my fixer upper THANK SO MUCH
Never seen a floor buckle up but those wood panels love to slide apart with the gap
What about hardwood flooring?
"How to Avoid Expansion Gaps" Does not show HOW but WHY to leave expansion gaps. Incorrect title.
