Hey y’all!
I would like to provide some tips..(Also note, I joined a new school last year (2024 may), and I may not be the topper of my class, but I am well known in my school. Within one year, mostly the whole school knows me because of my achievements and acts. However, I have never been at the top of my class. So I just want you to know that it's okay to not be the top of the class and that you can still be THAT students.. ^v^)
Tip 1: ALWAYS BE KIND – I am one of the council members (council members aka head girl, cultural minister, etc), and it is my duty to handle any chaos happening around me. Many times, students come to me if they have any doubts or conflicts, and I always talk to them nicely, in a sweet tone, and that has made A BIG IMPACT on students, regarding my image and behaviour in their mind. Some other members are not like that; they get too casual with the students, and that makes some students uncomfortable. They mostly prefer to come to me for anything. In return, they also behave nicely and act obdient!
Many teachers have also appreciated my behaviour, and that’s why they never shouted at me. And that’s also why I am well known and respected by them.
Tip 2: TAKE PART IN ACTIVITIES – I have always taken part in many activities held in our school, whether inter-school or intra-school. Even if I don’t know much about it, I still take part cuz I see it as an opportunity to know something new (all my teachers know this, that’s why they always offer me or tell me about any new activity that is going to happen). That’s why it is important to be present in other activities too!
Tip 3: ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT WHEN BEING TAUGHT – istg this is the most underrated tip. Pay attention to what the teacher is teaching so that you can answer when a question is asked. When you answer any question, even one, it creates a positive image in teacher’s mind about you. It shows that you are eager to learn, and that is enough to make a teacher happy. It shows them that their effort is paying off.
Tip 4: PLEASE AVOID BEING INVOLVED IN SCHOOL DRAMA – THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT GIRLIES. I SWEAR NEVER IN MY SCHOOL LIFE HAVE I EVER BEEN INVOLVED IN ANY SCHOOL DRAMA. Also, by school drama, I mean conflict, fights and arguements. This is why my image is very clean. Many of my friends have been involved in many chaotic things in school, but I have never been! I have always avoid these type of situation, and you should too.
Tip 5: ALWAYS HELP OTHERS – I am known as the helper girl of my class, just cause I help them in LITERALLY everything. And you know I never do that work in frustration or anything. I just do it cuz my mindset is that hepling everyone is that best policy (Ik it sounds cringe but idk..) So you need to make a mindset that makes you happy for helping other, even if its just helping them pack their bag or helping them in their projects.
Tip 6: INTERACT WITH OTHERS – I am the one of the most yappers list of my class. Like seriously I talk a lot. Not only with friends but with teachers and my other classmates too. I am literally friends with all my classmates. Teachers also enjoy talking with me and friends. That’s all why our teachres engage with me and my friends group a lot. Also, be mindful and careful of what your saying, specially in front of new people or teacher. Misinformation can mislead others!
Tip 7: Always value their opinion too. Make them feel like they are imporant too. Ask for their opinion if they look scared to engage with others while doing some activity or project.
For now, I can only think this much cuz my brain processes a bit slow… but I will definitey update if I remember any other. Anyways these are the top main tips I can say, that will help you on your journey to becoming THAT girl!! ^_^
