great
good video
okay
A few years ago, I started setting a very soothing sounding alarm, to tell me when to start getting ready to go to bed. ☺️
It helps! (But not all the time)
It's been so great to see that you are constantly keep advocating how to live as ADHD.
It's hard to see consistency when your favorite channel hosts also have ADHD. Famously Ryan Higa but he's doing fine so that's nice.
Anyways- it's been nice and I hope it persists longer. Hopefully one day this will all sum up to something even better for you, whatever that may be.
Best wishes.
Breadcrumbing sounds like something I can implement to jog my memory. I just need a consistent place to make note of my tasks. At the moment I use Keep for errands and lists, and OneNote for bigger ideas/projects with Notebook formatting. Setting a specific date and time then sticking to it for things other than appointments has always eluded me, but I've learned to allow myself within a week or month to do a thing that's usually good enough
I'm trying to limit the amount of time i spend editing mybbooks. Having less time helps me be more intentional and focused…i still have time creep but it is helping.
I spent many hours standing alone in the hallway when in grade school mainly due to my hyperfocus on things unrelated to what the teacher was teaching (and also due to my propensity to entertain the class – another classic ADHD characteristic). When in my 30s I got a masters in electrical and computer engineering. At that time, hyperfocus became my strongest asset. Solving complex differential equations was easy for me because I could focus on them so intensely. I hope teachers of young children learn to recognize hyperfocus and learn to channel it into useful things, and then reward it rather than punish it.
