would using the tablesaw slot for jig alignment be quicker to set up on subsequent use perhaps negate need to readjust fence on later use? the slot doesn’t move
Great jig. Not sure i’d use it with boards much longer than 4’ (I’d use my 6’ level method instead), but this looks handy & fast for shorter stock.
A lot cheaper than a jointer! (but I bet it can't do rabbets!).
If you did it with a dado blade it would take off more material right??
Why do you stop the cut on the jig halfway through?
