  1. I'm a twister (not mini twists though). I also do this the few times I explore hairdressers. I come home and take down one twist a few hours later and there have been times that the twist would be so so sooo tangled on just day one😭. When that happens I detangle and redo each twist.
It's so so crazy how badly tangled it gets. I am just relieved that I didn't let those twists sit in my hair for more than a week.

  2. I needed this video! I’m on a no adding synthetic or human hair to my natural hair for protective styling journey, and I just took out four week old braids and my hair was starting to matte at the roots (I was also washing and moisturizing it every week). I didn’t think of the simple solution of taking one down occasionally to see how long I can keep it in!

  3. Thanks for the tip. I was wondering for myself how long to keep my twist in during the cold months. During the summer I can go 3 weeks with a breeze. I want to stretch that to 6 weeks during the cold 🥶 months. I do keep my scalp clean with aloe Vera juice and moisturize my twist every 4-5 days. I’m on this waist length hair journey. Thanks for inspiring us ❤
