YouTube Shorts are only good as an experimentation playground – they are mostly shown to a random audience, and nobody cares if you did it wrong. Still, they allow to get some views when linked to a full-time video, and are good to become familiar with YT settings and analytics. But don't expect too much, unless you do a very specific content for pure entertainment, getting 10M views in 3 months is 99.99% unrealistic.
