What happens if you are just replacing the lights because they are broken and you can't make out what wire has writing on it
Voltage is fine, how do we choose the right transformer ? I think it is also depends upon the lights that you are putting in, like wattage.
I would have painted the 4 by 4 post the same color as the house so it wouldn't stand out like an eyesore

Please folks, just hire a PROFESSIONAL, Licensced Electrician to install your LIGHTING. Do it right, save yourself the throw it away junk after two years cost and the headaches. Is anything grounded?
