Watching this reminded me how brutal and complex the startup world really is. It’s not enough to have a great product, you need to master the language, culture, and systems that control funding and growth. The system tends to favor insiders, making it tough for outsiders to break through. I struggled for a long time trying to figure this out until I read Your Mind Was A Target by Dr Tessa V.. That book helped me understand the deeper forces at play and gave me practical tools to navigate challenges more wisely. Sometimes success isn’t just about hustle, but about seeing and working with the bigger picture.
Lingo leverage= phrase+ new behaviour+ audience
Eg- Netflix and chill
Hubspot- inbound sale
☆ catch new phrases in the market- gen ai, ai agents etc.
