►3/4 lb fettuccine or penne pasta
►1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
►1 Tbsp oil
►1 small onion, finely chopped
►2 Tbsp butter
►1 garlic clove
►1/3 cup white wine (I used Ste Chapelle Chardonnay ~$6)
►2 cups heavy whipping cream
►1/3 cup parmesan cheese
►S&P to taste
►Sprinkle of paprika
►Parsley or basil for garnish if desired

  1. I just discovered this recipe and I am absolutely loving it. I didn't have any wine on hand so I used chicken stock and it turned out just as amazing. This is a must in my meal plans now, the whole family loves it. My daughter is gluten free, so I do use gluten free pasta, but it still turns out amazing.

  2. THIS IS public service, ANNOUNCEMENT! Make sure when you’re cooking your fettuccine, especially in Colorado, you give yourself at least 15 minutes. Also make sure to separate the fettuccine as it’s cooking or they end up clumped together with one side of the fettuccine cooked and the other side hard not El Dante. Maybe toss in olive 1st before cooking?
