Ingredients for Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta:
►3/4 lb fettuccine or penne pasta
►1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
►1 Tbsp oil
►1 small onion, finely chopped
►2 Tbsp butter
►1 garlic clove
►1/3 cup white wine (I used Ste Chapelle Chardonnay ~$6)
►2 cups heavy whipping cream
►1/3 cup parmesan cheese
►S&P to taste
►Sprinkle of paprika
►Parsley or basil for garnish if desired

  2. While I do feel I am a good cook, I have always grabbed a couple of jars of garlic Alfredo sauce. The next time I make an Alfredo dish, which I usually do with fresh chicken, I will use your recipe for the sauce. I had to use a vegetable oil spread, as I have no oil yet, and garlic powder instead of garlic cloves. I also plan to add some steamed broccoli to add some green to it. I'll bookmark this so I can update it on how that Alfredo dish comes out. Oh, and I always use pappardelle egg noodles for all my Alfredo dishes, as I love those long, wide, Italian noodles.
