  1. I’ve been making biscuits for a while with many trials & errors because I love them and my kids do too. I use shortening and buttermilk. They come out so tall & flakey. I fold 3 times treating the dough gentle. I use a 450 oven and my cast iron skillet greased well and when I cut my biscuits I never twist but usually have leftover dough I reform and cut. That’s my treat biscuit. They are so delicious I can’t resist them with butter & syrup or raspberry jam. I recently used my air fryer they were amazing I will do this from now on to save time and the super hot oven takes so long to preheat and it’s hot here in CA. Keep up the great videos
