  1. Our chili we make we cook all the way in an electric skillet. We start by browning 2 lb ground beef (usually deer, not beef technically), then turn the heat down to add 2 cans of chili magic, 2 cans of rotel mild diced tomatoes, 1 can of black beans, 1 can of chick peas, 1 can of cut mushrooms, and a whole bunch of seasonings. Like a lot. Just off the top of my head, salt and pepper (the basics), chili powder, cayenne pepper, red pepper, garlic salt, oregano, ground basil leaves, rosemary, garlic powder, onion powder, and maybe a few more. We let it simmer at around 300°f, staying nearby to stop it sticking. Afterwards, we add the same seasonings again to make sure not too much is cooked out, and some hot sauce. You can use basically any hot sauce you want, but I prefer texas pete.
