True NY bagels get at least 12 hour in the refridgerator before boiling and baking. They also get boiled in water with barley malt syrup

Great video. Wish you used ounces as easier to measure. Even my kitchen scale doesn't have grams and have nothing here that measures grams. To much trouble to go online to convert everything. But recipe sounds good tho.

So i have tried this twice now using your exact measurements. I used 3.5 cups of pilsburry all purpose flower and flieschman yeast. For some reason when i mix the flour and yeast slurry it never gets to the smooth stage and barely rises after the one hr. Can someone tell me what im doing wrong please.
