Do NOT use canola oil. Actually known as “rapeseed oil”, it was developed as a machine lubricant that they realized could be fed to humans. It’s cheap and plentiful and caustic to humans, but hey, you can make money with little expense, so feed it to them! Beef tallow is best and what humans ate for all of our known history, but you can use Avocado oil if need be….

ridges on these donuts are a must have. And yes I would not have one without ridges. The more ridges the better and I like them just sour creamy. No extra flavors. Let me be nice though.
