  1. I've never heard of adding water…pretty much my recipe but I add slivered almonds in the candy and pecans on top, tastes like Heath bar…but I lay a large sheet of foil or parchment paper on a large cookie sheet and pour the candy on there and spread out thinner than that and if your gifting it makes more…yum 😋

  2. Thank you! I, thus far, have limited myself to entrées, appetizers and sides. Not delving much into desserts at all. This looks like something I can tackle. I love your enthusiasm and your detailed explanation. Again, thank you so much.

  3. Well I don't know if I believe you about how good it is, so I'm going to need you to send me a pan so I can judge for myself. lol Seriously though it looks amazing. My mom taught me how to do soft ball and hard crack with water at a young age (I'm 70 now) and I will still use that method even though I have a bunch of thermometers to choose from. (Presents for my husband) I've always made toffee with brown sugar, but since all of your recipes are so wonderful, I'm going to trust you on this one.
