  1. In the time I lived in Cape Town, I simply let my garden do its own thing over winter, while I just watched the rainwater tanks fill up. Now I'm back in Canada & have to learn what to do with pelargonia, gerbera, crocosmia & glads, agapanthus, vygies, and oh my, ek verlang na die Kaap.

  2. My garage gets down to below freezing- tried storing canna tubers and they turned to mush one winter. My basement has radiant floor heating under the slab and I keep it to 70 degrees. I assume neither my garage nor my basement will work for this method. I'm going to give my basement a try this winter, but I have low expectations.
