  1. I checked how much that Rimowa suitcase is out of curiosity, and I have to say that 750 euro for what is essentially a piece of plastic is ridiculous. You can get a quality cabin case for a fraction of the price.

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever put my toiletries into my carry on instead of my checked luggage. One tip I have is keep one additional outfit in your carry on so if your luggage goes missing or is delayed, you have clean clothes to wear after traveling.

  3. I feel the bit though that never gets talked about in all of these packing videos is the realistic fake that those of us with much bigger bodies, our clothes quite literally have more fabric in them and take up more room. I travel for work all the time, I edit all my clothes down into super cross functional workable capsule wardrobes, and I still don’t get down to the same β€œsmall only carry on sized” suitcases. So to everyone else I say, follow the principles as best you can, but know that it won’t be identical for you as it is for others if you are starting from very different starting points.
