Nope, bedroom with NO window like a closet. Bleah
that first design is too preoccupied with the fan design of the place, that its every aesthetic and choices screams "it's for a fan-shaped place!" as if we couldn't know it just from the curved windows.
the one you did is more focused on the purpose of the rooms, with the fan shape of the place into consideration, especially with the open spaces and natural light. the fan shape of the place became an interesting quirk, instead of its entire identity. i love it so much.

Something I really like about the original design is how they embraced the curvature of the outer wall and made use of several concentric curves
Yours is obviously better but I like way the walls followed the fan shape in the first one.
My first instinct was to put the utility areas (kitchen & bathroom) in the corner as well
