It depends. Keeping your elbows little bend gives more contraction for some people. I keep a little bend to get max contraction and squeezed.

I finally felt my chest get a workout. Instead of leaving with shoulder pain and feeling almost 0 growth in my chest
I get golfers elbow if I straighten my arms at the end of the rep. If I keep my elbows slightly bent it's all good. Maybe I'm getting old?
