I can service my bike myself thanks to your videos.
Ya'll always put too much on a very simple job, and it's RIDICULOUS!!!
This isn't difficult until these 🤡 s get a hold of ANYTHING on a bike. 🤮
HI CALVIN KINDLY LET ME KNOW FOR BSA 2241 16T WHICH TOOL IS COMPATIBLE PLEASE
How do I know spindle length? I measure 124.5mm on my trek roscoe 6, but that seems strangely big right?
Video at about 7:28 shows apparently applying full torque to the lock ring on the left (non-drive) side (BSA cartridge type). Can this be correct? My spindle binds with too much torque. Shouldn’t the left side only be tight enough to keep the bearings happy, with a little pre-load?
6:33 Technical question, I have a Dutch style bike with a fully enclosed chain-case/guard. The metal mount for the backside of the guard is clamped behind the sealed cartridge BB flange, can I remove it without adding a spacer in its place?
Watched this three times today and I STILL forgot which direction to go when I got started
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you so much for this information. You have shown me that I should just buy a cheap new or a used bike instead of trying to repair the bottom bracket.
Chris King T47 has a 50 nm spec for tightening and a shallow tool engagement. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't keep the tool on there to apply enough force to remove it. I may have to resort to vice grips. I don't know what else to do.
