  1. For anyone who doesn't know, when you paint over a small patch like this, just know that the paint will look different than the rest of the paint on the wall. Even if you do a paint match or the same paint that you originally painted the wall. This is because after time, paint changes so it's pretty much impossible to get the same exact color. If someone has other experience on avoiding this, please let me know, but that has been my experience.

  2. Bruh I watched videos like this for weeks prior to doing the job today, first I messed up the cutting of the square shape of the drywall then when trying to put the planks in screws are way to long and stick out, next I don’t have real planks so these things plank things are cracking when I fasten. Finally got somewhat of the California patch going except for the long ass screw sticking out and the drywall square shaped wonky AF, and go to apply joint compound that stuff going everywhere my floors are getting messed up and I have to wait in between layers to dry like dam I thought this be fast this only took me 3 hours to get started and I only have two days before my landlord visits “in laws” they own the house and come to see their grandson. Guess who’s gonna be buying a big ass paint portrait and watch bob ross tutorial on what to paint. This guy

  3. What a completely useless uninformative video. There is so much more that goes into this then what is being shown. This is laughable, Lowe’s you should be ashamed of this video. It just slaps shit on not telling how to apply, not telling to premud the wall. Completely useless. Youre stores DONT EVEN SELL DRYWALL patch kits. I had to buy a whole panel and break a quarter off, like what. None of your drywall stuff is in the same aisle it’s so spread out. You could have made an informative video but instead you focused on aesthetics and used bots to prop up your views and thumbs up.
