Before throwing away your cooker hood as you think it’s not worth the effort to repair and running to buy a new extractor it might be a simple fix.
The appliance industry is responsible for a lot of global warming due to built-in obsolescence this is not a well-known fact and is designed to make you consume more machines to make the companies more money. but sometimes we are also at fault as well, as was the story on this washing machine thrown away as it smelt a little and did not look pretty anymore.

The bulb is dc. How to change dc transformer. No volts in bulbs. My cooke hood is siemens LC98HC540 a think that the tree g4 bulbs are dc. Thanks

My filters were squashed in while moving how can l fix them?

still not work on one side and tested that the blub was fine, it's the plug that didn't work. Is there a transformer inside to step down the voltage from 220v to 12v for the blubs? I wasn't able to pull the wire down. Thanks for your detailed explanation, a greeting from Hong Kong.
