Seems very simple if you have the right tools. Stud finder, impact drill, drill bit set, 2.5 inch #10 wood nails for the studs, and a couple 1/2 or 3/4 toggle bolts.

Is there a standard exterior microwave size? What do you do when the new microwave is a different size? The built in space gets trim that doesn't match?

Hi how long would it take for an experience electrician to remove old integrated microwave and install a new one please? My existing microwave is only 45 cm wide and everywhere I look they seem to be 59.5 wide, not sure if I can find one to fit my size will I? also does it have to be an integrated microwave that I buy or can I buy any microwave to fit in? Hope you can help as we are pensioners we want to know the facts before we start. Thanks.
