  1. I've installed thousands of microwaves, I have some comments.
    1) take the knobs off the stove so you don't accidentally turn the cooktop on while you're doing the install and burn the blanket onto the stovetop
    2) always take the new appliance out of the box to inspect for damages before removing the old one
    3) do not put your toggle holes in the a & b shaded area holes. Mark those holes, put your toggle holes somewhere else. Holes a&b are your guide, they they should line up with the bracket
    4) I usedfiller blocks of wood maybe 1/1000 installs, very unlikely that you need them and they make it more difficult to install the mounting screws

  2. 8:25 That made no sense to me. If you are going to remove those cut-out parts in the back of the microwave then should you rotate the blower in the exact opposite direction so the fan outlets are actually facing the holes instead of inside of the microwave?
