WTF? Flush it and empty the water from the tank before removing the line! And pliers on the mounting bolts? This guy is a total hack.
I use a wet/dry shop vac to vacuum out remaining water before removing from the flange. Not sure how long it is supposed to last but 13 yrs later I am back at it again tomorrow
Saw so many comment about using pliers on nuts….THAT IS A NO NO….crescent wrench or socket ONLY
Did this guy just put the flange side up wtf?😂😅🤭👉
No gloves either huh🤮
I live in Ohio and I got quoted $312 to replace my wax gasket. The total cost of the bolts and wax ring was $12. You save me $300.❤
I am in the middle of a plumbing job that involved removing the toilet. Great video; very helpful, but I do have one suggestion. Do not use a pliers to remove the nuts. Pliers are great for rounding off nuts. Find the correct size wrench (mine take a 7/16 or 13mm) and use that. If you have a deep socket of the right size, you’re golden! Just no pliers, please.
Great video for a DIYER I usually check the tightness of the nuts after a few days to see if they;re still tight
Good evening how are you doing today my name is joe toomer i have a question can that same toilet ring be placed on any toilet
Didn't he just put the wax ring upside down?
🎉pliers on mounting screw ugh…..also shop vac is a staple with this job….
