  1. Found a tree just around the corner from me. I think I am the only one picking them. Me and the squirrels. Going to taste my yield and attempt to grow a few. Return some back to Mother Earth. Soaking handfuls in wine made from wild grapes, seeds, stems and all, which is tanic but goes well during communions with holy water sugar wash, half and half. Thanks for the video. Six bucks a pound when it comes out around here. Worth growing.

  2. Sat 27th of Sept 2025.
I just harvested a 5 gallon bucket of chestnuts that keep falling from the trees on my new property. We have about 5-6 trees that were planted in the mid 90s. Im in the very southern part of Missouri right next to a famous Heirloom Seed Company. The soil here next to the river is rich in minerals for optimal growing. This property was abandoned over 15 yrs ago, and by God's grace He's nurtured this neglected and forgetten land! Here also are hundreds of other friut trees. It took many months of chopping and brush hogging this land to uncover all the hidden and overgrown trees. Many trees were unfortunately lost to the various invasive vines that strangle abd block the sun.
    What an adventure.
Ive never tried eating a chestnut 🌰 before but now im confident and excited to try a new food. Im going to share these blessings with my neighbors!
Also on this property we have found hundreds of persimmon trees, dozens of Pawpaws, Maypops(wild passion fruit), asian pears, Cornelian Cherry, apples, peaches, akebia fruit and thousands of wild berry bushes! I am in awe that our Lord sustained these long forgotten trees and bushes! 20 acres of blessed land. Thank you Lord!
    Sabbath Blessings! ❤
