Most people fail the ASVAB because they go in without being fully prepared. That’s why I gathered some of the best tips and strategies that will help you when the time comes for you to take the test.

Summary:

Taking A Practice Test:
I recommend doing this first to simulate the real test and see where you’re at. There are links above so that you can take practice tests for free!

Studying:
Studying with other people can be better than studying alone! Focus on your weaknesses so that you don’t waste time on areas where you’re good. Keep your phone away from you so that you stay focused while studying!

Getting An Online Prep Course:

Test Day Tips:
Get a good night’s sleep and eat a good breakfast. This will help your brain perform at its full potential and increase the chances of you doing well. Don’t get stuck on one question, and skip it if you don’t know the answer. You should focus on the questions you do know and come back to the confusing ones last.

Bonus Tips To Help With Your ASVAB:
Talk to your recruiter because they have a good idea of what it takes to pass and fail the ASVAB after seeing hundreds of kids go through the same process. If you fail the test, don’t be discouraged, and just try again. There’s nothing wrong with taking the test multiple times to get the score that you want!
