  1. Does anyone know how to prevent this? I've inserted as many zippers as I've married Keanu Reeves. Zero times. I saw this on the great british sewing bee. Time was almost up, the person was inserting her zipper, and it didn't stop at the top, but the zipper pull went right out of the zipper. And the sewer said, I forgot to …. fill in the blank …. and it zipped right off. Everyone seemed to understand. It was not fixable, and so sad. But all my zippers have metal bits at the top. This is probably convoluted. I'm learning how to sew and just learning the terminology.
