  1. Personally, I would strongly suggest against coffee, especially within younger people! Myself, I don't really like coffee in the first place, so that's a plus. I've never been hooked on caffeine, but I've been eyewitness to many people who have. Overuse of coffee can actually make you burnout more, and learn less effectively (I won't type out all the research, but it's there). I also don't recommend consuming anything sugary before studying as well. Sugar also has similar effects as coffee. Maybe a short boost, but lots of burnout later. I've gone through this myself (I love sweets and honestly they used to be what I called a lifeline). I remember getting sugar or caffeine in my system before trying a long, hard, exhausting study session. Tbh, I probably lasted fifteen minutes max before feeling even more dogshit afterwards. If you're hungry, try things like nuts or berries instead, which research has proven to have some study benefits. My big, giant rule for getting rid of these kinds of addictions, though, is to not have any of it in the house at all. If it's not there, it's VERY likely you'll consume it less. Cut the source from easy access and bring more, better alternatives into the house instead. Enough of my yapping though, hope this helps some of you!
