Waaaay too fast. Slow down.
I just did my first one and wondered the same thing about the height. I found acweb site that the fed government gives the measurement of all kinds of stuff. Like in a bar, measurement would be a sitting person's eye level . So I look up the coat rack I was making and asked how far apart are the hooks? They say 4-5 inches. So when we go to dinner I measure. Now the wife thinks I'm a nut job buy they were right 4 inches.
