In this video we will show you why it’s important to care for your jacket & pants. You’ll get useful advice when and how often you should wash your garments and how to check the waterproofing / impregnation layer, also known as DWR (durable water repellent).
This simple process includes 3 steps:
Step 1: Wash
Step 2: Dry
Step 3: Reapply

Does DWR needs to be reactivated every wash (thumble dry or ironing)?
When the jacket wets out due to warn DWR is the breathability performance affected?
My supreme x gore Tex says use wash net on care instructions, is that required?

Gore tex i am trying to decide wether or not to get a white gore tex supreme parka or black one. I want a white one because i think it looks better but white jackets usually get dirty and then you will have to clean them more often. Do you guys think this would be the case with the white parka because i am considering the black one just so i dont have to worry so much about it getting dirty
Some jackets the North face (Gore-tex) in their instructions say that I have to wash with warm or cold water.
They already have me confused.
and others say that it does not have to be ironed
