  1. heads up, if you use products (especially ones with silicons, and definitely ones with oil-soluble silicons) invest in a good clarifying shampoo. This should have sulphates, which can be quite drying, but it will strip your hair of any build up of oil, dirt or products. Only clarify your hair every few weeks or less, and of course only near the roots.

    Even if you don’t use products, it can be beneficial if you clarify once in a while. I would recommend buying the herbal essences ‘blue ginger and micellar’ revitalise shampoo. It’s what i use, and since it’s mostly plant based, isn’t as harsh as some chemical based clarifying shampoos 🙂

  2. I keep reading reviews on sulfate free shampoo. I am wanting to find the perfect shampoo and it's so hard! I have a lot of hair but it's thin and gets super oily one day after washing.

    I even see some people say they prefer shampoo with sulfates. I just wish I could find the perfect shampoo already.
