We live in the Age of Information — yet we are becoming less capable of thinking. How did a world overflowing with knowledge create the most distracted, disconnected, and intellectually fragile generation in history?

In this video, we uncover the paradox of modern intelligence — how technology, education, and media have turned human potential into intellectual passivity. You’ll learn why attention has become the new currency of control, how the illusion of knowledge replaces real wisdom, and what it truly means to think in a world that fears consciousness.

Drawing from philosophers like Socrates, Nietzsche, and Plato, along with modern thinkers such as Byung-Chul Han and Daniel Levitin, this exploration reveals how we are not losing intelligence — we are surrendering it. And most importantly, it shows how to reclaim it.

  1. Standardized people, machines, Metropolis (book and movie). Psyche, I gather you are amongst the same group doing many economic/financial channels now. That’s fine. But your crowd is literally instituting a replacement for the failed system of education, learning, the endeavor to gain wisdom. YT is your platform and the comment section is how we interact. Welp, better than nothing, but it’s not F2F and THAT is what needs to return. We are so overtaken. I can’t breave is the meme for our lives. I’ve labored over every issue you raise, for years. Got rid of TV 35 years ago. Don’t do smart anything. Kill the screen. I play solitaire while I listen to a lecture and wish every point made could be parsed and discussed. But with whom? There’s no one.

  2. But ignorance creates the best consumers and debt prisoner thus reducing the marketing costs drain on the bottom line. Many who teach see the decay first hand at best most degrees are just being sold to maintain enrollment revenue demands and degree completion statistics so customers can still obtain huge loans for overpriced degrees that have essentially negligible livable career opportunities. Hey isn’t commodification of education and healthcare swell?!

  3. Lol modern education was never meant to "enlighten the mind"… Modern education was created by Rockefeller to "creat a nation of workers " …do some research before you talk crap. On the other hand it's pretty obvious technology makes us "dumber" just like cars makes us slower and fatter… Just ran to work and school etc instead of driving, trust me you will be in better shape. See how stupid you sound ? People were always gullible and docile… While technology is damaging especially for the youth it is also helps to do things faster and easier.. it's more like we should bann children from social media. Like under 18 no inst, no Facebook, no snap etc… use the computer for study , play games and watch movies. But don't get bombed with notifications with useless content.
