Every company importing goods are responsible for complience with savety standards and are held responsibly for violations or harm caused by the products. When importing as a private person, you are responsible for the complience or harm they cause like exploding chargers or chemicals in products- So don´t gift or donate stuff you have imported yourself. The last tests they did in Germany with Shein and Temu products were terryfying and the most of the electrical stuff had fake savety marks like GS (Geprüfte Sicherheit= checked savety) (Stiftung Watentest 30.10.25).
I’ve bought glass mugs from Temu. When I put hot water in them, they shattered into pieces and burnt my hands, so I’d be very careful when using them.
A two-year-old is not to be trusted with glass or delicate Christmas decorations. She will still be ripping them off of the tree. It is necessary for you to child proof that tree so that she does not get hurt.
