I went to The Montagu Pyke, one of London’s most famous JD Wetherspoon pubs — once the legendary Marquee Club, where bands like The Who, Bowie, and Metallica played.
I expected basic pub grub… but I was shocked.
For under £12 including a drink, I tried the American Burger with Guinness and the Spice Bag Chicken with Corona — and honestly, the food was way better than I imagined.

I see you left the burger and lots of chips and went on to the spicy chicken option.I sincerely hope you went back and finished your 2 meals as I detest food wastage ,if you cannot eat it get a doggy bag. Also eat the food while warm and then rabbit on after

Wetherspoons Pub in Aldershot I got the best Cheeseburger and Chips I’ve ever had and pint of Coors lager for a £10. Didn’t feel the need to dissect it first like this guy though. Just f****kin eat it.
I love weatherspoons, it's somewhere I can go by myself and not feel uncomfortable and the price is good also coffee has many as you want for £1.50

There's the good rule when eating out, choose the menu of the day. This especially counts when in France.
